What is the standard lead time for engine delivery?
Most in-stock crate engines ship within 2-3 business days. Custom builds or out-of-stock items typically have a lead time of 4 to 8 weeks depending on component availability.
Do BluePrint engines come with a warranty?
Yes, we offer an industry-leading 30-month / 50,000-mile warranty on most crate engines, providing you with peace of mind and long-term reliability.
How is my engine shipped and delivered?
All engines are securely bolted to a heavy-duty pallet, enclosed in a protective crate, and shipped via LTL freight with lift-gate service available for residential deliveries.
What kind of oil should I use for the break-in period?
We recommend using a high-zinc break-in oil for the first 500 miles to ensure proper component seating. Detailed oil specifications are included in your owner's manual.
Are the engines dyno-tested before shipping?
Every BluePrint engine is dyno-tested to verify performance. You will receive a copy of your engine's individual dyno sheet showing the actual horsepower and torque readings.
What is your return policy for performance parts?
Unused and uninstalled parts can be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to a restocking fee. Please contact our support team to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
